David Ramsey Wants Bruce Wayne In Arrow

Actor David Ramsey, who is well known for his role on Arrow as John Diggle, wants to see another iconic from Gotham to come pay a visit to Starling City- though it isn’t Batman.

More precisely, it’s the other side to his personality, billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne. While speaking at last week’s Television Critic’s Association Press tour last week, Ramsey revealed his hope to see Gotham’s most eligible bachelor interact with Starling City’s own boy billionaire (Or former billionaire). Though the Arrow incarnation of Bruce Wayne wouldn’t necessarily have to be an opposing billionaire playboy. David Ramsey expresses how he thinks that it would be interesting if Arrow showcased a Bruce Wayne who’s still training with the League of Assassins, much like the Bruce Wayne in Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins.

Ramsey shares his thoughts with Collider:

” I don’t want to see Batman, but I would love to see Bruce Wayne.  Maybe he’s part of the League of Assassins, right now.  Maybe he watched in horror as Oliver Queen was pushed off the cliff, or maybe he watched and it wasn’t so much in horror.  Maybe he’s just joined the League, or maybe he’s been part of it for years.  Who knows?  Maybe he’s a billionaire who visits Starling.  I don’t know.  But, I would love to see that.  As big as Ray Palmer is, with his billionaire persona, it ain’t Bruce Wayne.  I would just love to see Bruce Wayne and Oliver Queen together.”

It wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to have Bruce Wayne appear on Arrow sometime later in the series, considering all of the appearances, references and cameos thrown into the show. Whether he dawns the cape and cowl or not, it would still be exciting just knowing that Batman/Bruce Wayne exists in the same universe as Arrow/Flash.

What do you think? Would you enjoy seeing Batm- er, Bruce Wayne have a role on Arrow? Let us know in the comments below.

Arrow airs on Wednesdays at at 8:00 p.m. on The CW.

Bruce Wayne and Oliver Queen are contemporaries. Roughly the same age, although I believe the Batman started out before the Green Arrow in the canon. Not by much though. Oliver would have crossed paths during his five year exile maybe, certainly not during the battle with Ra’s.

Actually that would be pretty cool.
