His razor-sharp wit hides the pain of a man who has lived through serious conflict. He also harbors many secrets, always leaving both his teammates and the audience unsure of his true allegiances.

The cast thus far, Ray Palmer-Atom (Brandon Routh), Prof. Martin Stein-Firestorm (Victor Garber), Sara Lance-Black Canary (Caity Lotz), Kendra Saunders-Hawkgirl (Ciara Renée), Richard “Rip” Hunter (Arthur Darvill) and a “Mystery Hero” yet to be revealed!

  • Hand-to-Hand Combat (Basic): Although Rip prefers the solitude of a laboratory, he has also trained himself in the martial combat lessons from societies and cultures from BC to the end of time.

With the announcement of Ciara Renée being cast in the role of Kendra Saunders aka Hawkgirl earlier today and now Arthur Darvill in the role Richard “Rip” Hunter, that leaves just one more role not filled yet…..

“MYSTERY HERO” | An African-American male in his twenties will fill the role of a regular, street smart guy who unexpectedly gains powers, and then, as part of the team, regularly quips about the insanity of the situations.

Could the “mystery hero” be Wally West as Kid Flash/Impulse?

My love of comics started at the age of 5, when visions of mythic beings fought their way across my TV screen. Batman '66, Super Friends, Wonder Woman, and Superman '78 filled my early childhood with imagination and adventure. Soon enough I found the spinner rack! Batman, Justice League and DC's Who's Who kept me coming back for more. I've seen the death of hope, justice broken, a light extinguished, and a universe torn! A kingdom come, the lightning return, a triumph of evil and a multiverse reborn!
