Possible Future Batman Games Through Warner Bros.

With all of us who have played the Batman: Arkham Knight series it is more than obvious that we are still itching to continue crusading around Gotham and if possible the rest of the DC Universe. With the ending of the game came some fun theories from fans about how the game ended was actually a segue into the next Batman game. Don’t worry I won’t say anything about the ending in case you haven’t played it yet. But you really should play it and all the fun that is to be had. The official word from Warner Brothers and Rocksteady is to remain silent about possible future Batman games. The head boss at Warner Brothers, Ames Kirshen, did have this to say in an interview on the Playstation Blog about the Arkham series stating,

Batman is one of the cornerstone IPs for Warner Bros. With the Arkham series, we were finally able to realize the full potential of the character… We don’t have anything to talk about at this time [regarding future Batman games], but the possibilities are endless with a character as dynamic and beloved as Batman.

With all the silence and or secrecy what do you think they might do for the next Batman video game? Do you see it working off of the television show or do villain base releases such as the Penguin and Edward Nygma running amok in Gotham? Comment and let us know what you think.
