The sequel to the hit Harley Quinn fan film, The Killing Grin, is officially on the way, and this chapter may cover a familiar story.
Director Jason Onorad has revealed that the title to the much anticipated follow-up will be The Killing Grin – Part 2: Mad Love.
For those unfamiliar with the Mad Love comic story, it tells the origin story of Dr. Harleen Quinzel, who falls in love with one of her patients, The Joker. This hopefully means that we’ll get a deeper backstory into the Harley Quinn that was portrayed in the first film, and finally get to see the infamous psychopath who holds her heart. Mad Love was originally released as a one-shot comic and was later adapted into an episode of the hit show The New Batman Adventures.
The Killing Grin hit the web back in April and has been received very well by fans, garnering over 20,000 views in less than four months. Little is known about the actual plot at this time and a release date has not been announced yet. So, stay tuned to DC Comics News for all the updates on The Killing Grin – Part 2: Mad Love.
