Cast Of Justice League Opposed To Dakota Access Pipeline

If you do not know what is going on over in Dakota then let me shed a little light on it by stating what facts have been presented. The Indian Tribe members of the Standing Rock Sioux in North Dakota have been protesting the construction of an oil pipeline that is set to run close to and through parts of their reservation. The purpose of the pipeline is to transport crude oil from part of North Dakota, passing through South Dakota, and Illinois on along Iowa. The reasoning for this pipeline has been said to increase money to state and local governments all the while reducing dependency on foreign energy sources.

The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe is attesting this as it encroaches upon their ancient prayer and burial sites in addition to the destruction it would bring to the health of the entire local ecosystem if something were to go awry.  The tribe has gone on to say that they were not adequately consulted on the pipeline construction and potential hazards; which if the U.S. Judge James Boasberg agrees with the tribe it means that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will have to withdraw their permits and stop construction.

This has been a hot button with many people but it is even more amazing that the cast of the Justice League, and many more actors have continued to speak out against the frustration on the lack of media coverage on this issue. In fact The Justice League actors have a very quick message for you all:
