In case you didn’t know, Warner Bros TV, alongside creators Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, and Sarah Schecter are planning on releasing a Titans television show on direct-to-consumers digital services next year. Of course, one of the core characters from the Titans franchise is Robin, who will be played by Brenton Thwaites, and now fans have the chance to get to see what he will look like when the show premieres next year!
Titans is planned to bring together Robin (Dick Grayson version), Starfire (played by Anna Diop), Raven (played by Teagan Croft), and Beast Boy (played by Ryan Potter) as the core team alongside recurring characters Hawk and Dove (played by Alan Ritchson and Minka Kelly respectively). It’s safe to say that the show’s creators are definitely thinking big by including all these characters in the first season of the show.
The Robin suit was designed by Laura Jean Shannon, who has designed for other characters from other properties such as Black Lightning, Iron Man, and The Jungle Book. Take look at Robin in the image down below:
From this image, it looks like it’s coming together quite well with a more realistic, darker look for the character (I don’t think we have to worry about green underoos here). You do kind of wish for a full body look at the costume but this will have to do for now. We can’t wait to see how the other characters will look like and you know you can count on us at DCCN to let you know when those images will be released.
