Summary

“Fear the Future”! New Super-Man and the Justice League of China prepare for their final mission, and the fate of the Chinese metahuman future lies in the treacherous realm of ghosts! The team must enter the realm and confront their greatest fears to discover the path forward for their country—and help restore balance to the entire world in the process!
Positives

In the first few pages, we get a peek behind the façade of the Justice League of China, as this team is very much younger than their American counterparts, and Yang gives fans what seems more like a hostel than the headquarters for a team of superheroes.

The team gets caught up in the Realm Of Spirits as Kong Kenan tries to find his master, I Ching, which is a rather different story than your typical superhero story, as they utilize Eastern religious beliefs. The team ends up fighting their ghost versions, leaving themselves with more than their match, as they start to understand more about each other than they have ever. Lastly, Kong Kenan finally achieves balance, which is more than a perfect ending to this superior story.
