The girl in blue finds herself between a rock and cell door in a recent Elseworlds trailer for the upcoming CW crossover. The Arrowverse Elseworlds crossover event is set for this December and will put our heroes onto alternate Earths where nothing is quiet as it seems.
Supergirl first crossed over into the Arrowverse with a one shot team up with Grant Gustin’s Flash in which it was established Supergirl’s world existed on another Earth within the vast multiverse of the Arrowverse. The Girl of Steel then joined the rest of her super counterparts in the 2016 Invasion CW crossover and has since remained a staple of the group participating in every crossover since then.
This years crossover will feature multiple characters from Supergirl’s Earth including her cousin Superman and her sister Carol Danvers featured in the trailer below.

Supergirl’s relationship with her sister has always been a central plot point of her show and it seems the crossover will be no different. Having Supergirl explore a world where she and Danvers are not sisters but enemies will add new layers to the character and definitely affect the show for years to come!
