Rumor Update: Bryan Cranston NOT Cast as Lex Luthor – Yet

So the internet has been in a frenzy lately, what with Ben Affleck’s recent casting as Batman in the yet untitled Man of Steel sequel. Rumors spread far and wide, with some going as far as stating that Matt Damon may have a role to play in the film.

DCN recently posted an article discussing the rumors that Bryan Cranston has been tapped to play Lex Luthor in the upcoming sequel. And while a variety of websites across the internet are reporting such news as fact, here at DCN we would like to take a moment and remind our faithful readers that nothing OFFICIAL has happened…yet.

Yes, it is true that Bryan Cranston has expressed interest in the role. When asked about possibly playing Luthor, Cranston replied, “Give me a call.” He then went on to say, “I like Lex Luthor. I think he’s misunderstood. He’s a loveable, sweet man.”

Certain websites, which we shall not name here, decided to run with the news and deem it as fact. So this is just a courteous reminder: lets all wait and see what happens. This is not official news, yet.
