Last week DC Comics informed subscribers that they would not be receiving 27th Issue of Detective Comics as part of their subscription, citing the issues 96 pages and $7.99 price point. Obviously, this was a point of contention for the subscribers and led to one fan posting a link to Bleeding Cool’s write-up on the story to his Facebook page.
Dan DiDio, the Executive Editor for DC Comics, notified fans via Facebook that the problem has been corrected and that subscribers would now be receiving issue #27. This is the second about-face DC has made regarding Detective Comics #27, the first being the cancellation and the canceling of the cancellation of the cover by Frank Miller.
