Rumors of Geoff Johns and John Romita Jr. taking over “Superman” has now been confirmed by the DC All Access web series.

“We’re taking over the ‘Superman’ monthly comic book this summer. We’ve been talking about Superman for quite a while and it’s going to be a blast.” Johns said in the All Access segment.

“This is going to be very interesting. I’m actually a little intimidated, seeing all the artists that have done his image before. This is not an easy thing to sail smoothly through.” said Romita Jr.

“I share your nervousness, but I also have confidence. I’m really excited about the pair-up.” Johns responded.

The duo is planned to take over writer Scott Lobdell after “Superman” #30.
