‘The DC Comics Bombshells are based off the bestselling line of statues from DC Collectibles featuring designs from Illustrator Ant Lucia. The DC Comics Bombshell line finds each female reimagined as a vintage pin-up, with a look that hearkens back to nose art found on World War II-era bomber planes.’
These prints are inspired by the 1940s and ’50s pin-up style, a fan favorite DC Collectibles’, all designed by Art Lucia. Art says –
“I’m so proud of the work we’ve accomplished on the Bombshell line and very excited to see them become part of the cover series,” Bombshell designer Ant Lucia told USA Today. “It has been a privilege to work with the team at DC Collectibles and watch these develop”.
Lucia’s designs, should appear on 20 of DC’s June-shipping Variant titles.
