75 years ago, one of the most iconic superheroes to ever grace the printed page was born. Â In 1939, Bob Kane and Bill Finger created the ultimate seeker of justice…BATMAN. Â And this year, at WonderCon 2014, DC Entertainment is putting on a huge celebration for this milestone event.
Last year we celebrated Superman’s 75th birthday with the newest film starring the Last Son of Krypton, Man of Steel.  An amazing film and the perfect start to DC’s cinematic universe.  But what about Batman?  Well, we started off the year seeing him in the hilarious animated film, The LEGO Movie, voiced by Will Arnett.  He will also star in all three DC Universe Animated films this year, starting with Justice League: War, which came out earlier this year.
His next feature will be Son of Batman followed by Batman: Assault on Arkham, based on the very popular Batman: Arkham video game franchise.  And speaking of the game, it was recently announced that the newest installment of the mega-hit franchise, Batman: Arkham Knight, is set to release in October of this year.  Batman also saw the release of his new weekly comic series, Batman Eternal.
