ComicConnect is selling Batman’s co-creator Bob Kane’s personal copies of the 1st and earliest appearances of the Caped Crusader, copies are going up for auction. Bob Kane’s personal copies for sale start from Detective Comics #27 through to #45, also Batman issues #1 to #3. The auction house is yet to provide an estimate of the sets, stating such items rarely come up for sale.
Items will be auctioned online, the 1939 copy of Detective Comics, features one of the earliest appearances of Batman, comics are classed ‘near mint’.
Other books up for sale will be the first Incredible Hulk comic book and a 1942 Archie comic book, Archie No. 1, which marks his first time appearing in his own magazine.
