The CW’s “The Flash” premieres on October 7th and a new teaser trailer has been released to hype up the date.

Barry Allen/Flash will be played by Grant Gustin and I am ready to believe in the impossible: that he is the fastest man alive!  He will be joined on screen by Candice Patton playing Barry’s love interest Iris West, along with Rick Cosnett (Eddie Thawne), Danielle Panabaker (Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost), and Wentworth Miller (Captain Cold).  John Wesley Shipp has been cast as Barry’s father, Henry Allen, a nod to his role as Barry Allen in the 1990 TV version of “The Flash.”
“The Flash” will run Tuesdays (8:00PM/7:00C) with “Arrow” following up on Wednesdays (8:00PM/7:00C.)  The 8th episode of both shows will be a 2 hour crossover event.
