What Other Movies Does Warner Bros. Have In The Works?

Fans were just about ready to lose it when earlier this week, Warner Bros. registered the domain names AquamanMovie.com, JusticeLeagueFilm.com, ShazamMovie.com, and WonderWomanTheMovie.com. These movies were already rumored to be in the works, so the announcement didn’t come to be too much of a surprise, but what other movies does Warner Bros. have in the works?

Many would believe that WB didn’t register for these domain names until recently, but in fact, AquamanMovie.com and ShazamMovie.com were both registered back in 2000, while WonderWomanTheMovie was registered in 1999.

Other domains Warner Bros. currently owns are MetalMenMovie.com, SandmanMovie.com, SwampThingMovie.com, PlasticManMovie.com, and DeadmanMovie.com.  Like previous domains, these were registered a couple years back. MetalMenMovie.com was registered in 2007, SandmanMovie.com was registered in 2001, SwampThingMovie.com was registered in 2009, PlasticManMovie.com was registered in 1999, and DeadmanMovie.com was registered in 2009.

What could this mean? Well, after Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits the big screen on March 2016, the next logical step would be for a Justice League movie, and DC Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns recently confirmed that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson would be playing Black Adam in an upcoming Shazam movie, therefore, it makes sense that WB would register for their domains, along with the domains for the rumored Aquaman and Wonder Woman movies.

With a Justice League and Shazam possibly in the works, perhaps it won’t be long until DC fans see Plastic Man, Sandman, Swamp Thing, Metal Men, and Deadman in a movie of their own. After all, a lot of these movies were long rumored. If the rumors were to be true, this would make for quite an ambitious itinerary and could possibly be the beginning of a larger DC Cinematic Universe.

Which of these characters are you most excited to see next on the big screen, and how successful do you think their movies will be? Are these movies a good move for DC? Should the DC Cinematic Universe expand further?
