Very few things are more fun than putting together a good Lego set. What is one thing that could possibly make that experience better? Putting together a set based on your favorite DC super heroes and villains like Brainiac. Honestly it is about time we see more DC themed Legos. After all the Marvel and Disney sponsored collections, it is nice to see DC finally represented.
Courtesy of The Brick Fan images were recently released showing off a Brainiac style Lego set.
‘Brainiac Attack,’ as the set is titled, comes with Superman, Supergirl, Martian Manhunter, and of course, Brainiac. The set will be going for $24.99 at your local retailer. Inside will contain not only the four miniatures but it looks as though Brainiac’s Skull Ship will be included. The Skull Ship has served as Brainiac’s mobile base since well before the “Infinite Crisis.” In fact, during the crisis he uses the ship to house many of Earth’s super villains. This will indeed be fun for not only younger, but older fans who have followed the comics for years.
As you can see the figures are based on their original designs. The Martian Manhunter looks amazing. The color and the line work makes this a DC toy that will be sure to fly off the shelves.
