Margot Robbie Talks Nerves and Excitement

Margot Robbie will soon be bringing the clown princess of crime to the silver screen. Harley Quinn has been used in many different mediums but this will be her first big screen appearance. After Robbie’s performance in Wolf of Wall Street she seems like a perfect fit for the part. With her looks and that amazing accent her portrayal of Harley is highly anticipated.

Robbie recently talked to AZCentral about her excitement for the upcoming role. She mentions how ecstatic she would be to play Harley for the long haul in the DC cinematic universe.

“You don’t need to have commitment issues to be frightened by the fact that you might have just signed 10 years of your life away,” Robbie says. “But with her, it’s a character I don’t think would ever get boring. Ever. So if they did ‘Suicide Squad One,’ ‘Two’ and ‘Three,’ I would be over the moon about it.”

This is in no way a confirmation of any future films, but it certainly seems like she’s leading that way. I can’t realistically see Suicide Squad being a trilogy. However, Joker and Harley could prove to play a role in future stand alone Batman pictures. Perhaps at the end of the Suicide Squad film Affleck will get a face-to-face with Leto and Robbie.

Speaking of Jared Leto, both Leto and Margot Robbie were in attendance at the Academy Awards over the weekend. MTV reporter Josh Horowitz caught up with Robbie on the red carpet to see if she had run into her new “Mr. J.” She admitted that the two hadn’t crossed paths since they were selected for David Ayers’ Suicide Squad movie.

“We haven’t seen each other since we got the roles,” she said. “Hopefully he’s happy about it. Hopefully it’s fine… you’re making me nervous now!”

Don’t miss Margot Robbie alongside Will Smith (Deadshot), Jai Courtney (Capt. Boomerang), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), And Jared Leto (Joker) in the upcoming Suicide Squad film.
