‘Batman v Superman’ à la 1940.

Paul Cornish has created an amazing 1940s style Batman v Superman trailer.

While we’ve been patiently waiting for the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Paul Cornish of FamousFanboy has been spending his time making one heck of a parody trailer.

The 1940-esque trailer features footage of the very first live-action Batman (Lewis Wilson) and Superman (Kirk Alyn) in the places of their modern counterparts, Affleck and Cavill.

Of course, Wilson and Alyn never did team up in a super-powered movie together. (In fact, Dawn of Justice will be the first live-action Batman/Superman film.) Judging from this trailer though it was a lost opportunity.
