Earlier today, Punisher: War Zone director Lexi Alexander was speaking with fans on Twitter during a Q&A. When one fan if Marvel had asked her to direct one of their shows on the online streaming service Netflix, to which she replied “They have not. But I am excited to direct Arrow in August ;-)”

It goes without saying that fans were naturally hyped when they recieved this news. Lexi Alexander is often recommended for numerous comic book movies by her fans after she dished out the most favored take on Frank Castle, aka The Punisher in the 2008 film Punisher: War Zone. But now it seems that she’ll be focusing her skills on the small screen in the fourth season of Arrow.
What will she bring to the quiver? Well, we can’t tell you because we actually don’t know ourselves but we will certainly find out in August.
