Back in April, The Wrap reporter Jeff Sneider told his “Meet the Press” podcast listeners that actor Jim Parrack would have a role in the 2016 Suicide Squad film. Now, thanks to Parrack’s costar, Corina Calderon, it is revealed that Parrack will be playing Joker’s henchman named Jonny Frost.
The character of Jonny Frost comes from the 2008 graphic novel Joker written by Brian Azzarello with art by Lee Bermejo. Calderon, who has a minor role in Suicide Squad posted the news on Instagram congratulating her costar.
“All #HappyCamper on my way to set again, going earlier than my #CallTime just to be there and watch my boy Jim Parrack playing #JonnyFrost do his Thang #SuicideSquad”
Despite, Calderon having since deleted this post, you may still be able to find it floating around on the world wide web.
Parrack can be seen briefly in the Suicide Squad trailer leading his character’s boss, the Joker (Jared Leto) down a hallway.
Suicide Squad will be released in theaters on August 5th, 2016.
