AMC has brought the popular shows, Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead and they now continue their uniquely styled shows with the cult comic classic, Preacher.
The world premiere trailer of Preacher has been released with footage from the new show that sets the premise and setting of the show and character Jesse Custer (Preacher) who is played by Dominic Cooper.
The plot will be about the small town preacher whom connects with a creature that has escaped from Heaven. He will be joined by his ex-girlfriend Tulip, played by Ruth Negga and an Irish vampire, Cassidy, played by Joseph Gilgun.
AMC Preacher will be based off the DC Comics Vertigo. The pilot does not have a released date, but is rumored to be in the mid-2016.
The director is Evan Goldberg and main writers Garth Ennis and Seth Rogen.
