After a little tease over the weekend, fans finally got another look at the upcoming DC film Suicide Squad. We were given a more in-depth look at the Joker and a few more words from Harley Quinn. With a few punches thrown, plenty of bullets raining down, and even a quick beer this new Suicide Squad trailer has everything. After waiting quite a few months after SDCC, this trailer did not disappoint. Most of the footage was all new and not seen in the previous comic con promo. The Joker took center stage after the first half. Laying and laughing surrounded by his various cutlery was maybe my favorite scene. It’s looking like Jared Leto has brought the vicious insanity to this film and his portrayal of the Clown Prince of Crime. Also, after much speculation, the acid-bath is confirmed. Dr. Harleen Quinzel will be taking a dip with The Joker and will be coming out a changed woman.
With so much excitement around the upcoming DC Cinematic Universe, this movie really has me excited. A great cast and an amazing director were the only was this movie could have been executed properly.
Suicide Squad stars Jared Leto, Will Smith, Jai Courtney, Margot Robbie, Cara Delevingne, Viola Davis, Scott Eastwood, Joel Kinnaman, Adam Beach, and Adewale Akinnuove-Agbaje. The film is directed by David Ayer and will be coming to theaters this August.
