Now that we have gotten the amazing film Batman V Superman we look forward to Suicide Squad, that comes out August 5th. The musician/actor Common has teased about the upcoming movie and about a comic book movie unlike anything we have seen before.
In an interview for another movie that Common is acting in he broke some amazing news, such as the plans for a John Wick 2, and Barbershop: The Next Cut Christina Radish asked him about his time on set with Jared Leto while he was working as The Joker and his time in the movie Suicide Squad. He talked about how Leto liked to play little pranks on set, such as sending a rat to Margot Robbie(Harley Quinn). Which is why Common is all in support of Jared’s take on The Joker and how he gets into the character’s mind.
I just knew that world was a gritty comic book world that I haven’t seen. I feel like, with so many comic book movies being made, I wanted to be a part of one of the ones that is special…I was excited about working with him, being [in] a movie with Will Smith and Viola Davis and Jared Leto, and playing opposite The Joker. I was like, “God, this is going to be exciting!”
