Snapchat is a thing that people use on the internet, I think.

In a furious synergy of social media applications, DC Comics official Facebook page, as well as their official Twitter account,  have announced the existence of their official Snapchat account, DCHQ.  No word yet from the official DC Friendster account.

Per the announcement, following DCHQ on Snapchat will allow fans to access exclusive first looks at new comics, as well as other content.  Presumably, this will not include videos of Green Lantern’s junk.

A hasty internet search tell us

Snapchat is a mobile messaging application used to share photos, videos, text, and drawings. It’s free to download the app and free to send messages using it. It has become hugely popular in a very short space of time, especially with young people.

The young people part stings, but explains a lot. Get off my lawn, DC Comics!

For the rest of you youngsters, fire up your Snapchat App, and Follow DCHQ!
