If Tom Holland gets his way, he’ll go from web-shooters to cape, cowl and Batarangs! Rising star Tom Holland, who stars in the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming, recently announced in an interview conducted by co-star Zendaya, that he would like to play the Dark Knight himself, Batman.
When asked which iconic movie role he wished he could play he responded by saying he would like to play James Bond or DC Comics’ Batman.
Zendaya jokingly responded how unfair it would be for the the young actor to be able to portray all of those well-known characters, for which Holland gave the perfect response: “It would be so unfair. But life isn’t fair, Zendaya.”
From what we have seen in Civil War he already makes a great Spider-Man, but what about Batman? Though arguably too young to play Batman now, in a few years who knows? Sound off on your opinion of Holland as Batman in the comments below.
In the meantime, be sure to check out Tom Holland in Spider-Man: Homecoming on July 7. You will also be able to see him in the film Uncharted which is set to be a prequel to the popular video game of the same name.
