Bryan Edward Hill has been tapped by Warner Bros. for the writing team behind the scheduled Titans live-action series set to debut in the fall of 2018 on a new DC digital service.
The brainchild of DC Comics Publisher Geoff Johns, with a writing team lead by Greg Walker, Hill feels very in his element. “It’s an amazing room,” he candidly admits. “[Greg, Geoff and] Akvia Goldsman have been in the room and it’s a dream. Gabrielle Stanton is there and it’s like actually being on a team of superheroes.”
Aside from Hollywood glamor, Wildstorm Comics just announced Hill as writer for Michael Cray, and will continue his runs on his other titles Aphrodite V, the Cyberforce reboot, and Postal.
This is the first time that the Titans will be translated into live-action television. Previous reports confirm the roster will include Dick Grayson (no alias), Raven, Beast Boy, and Starfire. Casting information has not been disclosed as of yet, but the general feeling is that this series will be a standalone program separate from the well-established Arrow-verse and DCEU continuity.
