The Joker is easily the most famous Batman villain to ever come out of the character’s nearly 80 year lineage, and so whenever someone new goes to take on the Clown Prince of Crime, audiences always have something to say.
But what about those who have portrayed the character in the past? Well, fan-favorite Mark Hamill gave his thoughts on Jared Leto’s recent portrayal of Mr. J in last year’s Suicide Squad:

It’s nice to see a legend like Mark Hamill giving Leto the respect he deserves, unlike a lot of fans. Leto is set to appear in the planned Joker/Harley Quinn movie and Suicide Squad 2 (set for a 2019 release).
