Summary

Betty and Veronica wake up in a place that seems nice—but something isn’t quite right. Maybe it’s the super-villain costumes they’re wearing. Or maybe it’s the henchmen chasing them and shouting about motorcycles and plants! Meanwhile, Riverdale doesn’t know what to do with certain members of the cheerleading squad.

Positives

DC and Archie Comics do their own rendition of Freaky Friday in this issue, which leads to some funny situations. Harley and Ivy must deal with disciplinarians, lie to their teachers, and worst of all, the jungle of popularity that surrounds high school. It is also interesting to see such do-gooders as Betty and Veronica robbing banks and tying up police. Lastly, Archie’s interactions with Harley and Ivy feel like an awkward first date, which should be fun but they barely know each other.

Negatives

There are no negatives worth mentioning in this issue.

Verdict

This issue, although a nice way to stall the story arc, is a fun way to look at these two very similar set of characters.
