Summary

“Fall of the Batmen” part three! With the Victim Syndicate on the move and Clayface on the edge, the team faces a crossroads—but Batwoman believes she knows the way forward! The trick is…does Batman agree?

Positives

Fake news has finally found its way into Detective Comics with the smearing of Batman’s reputation as his association with Clayface draws indignation from Gotham’s media. The insertion of the Victim Syndicate proves to be worthy archenemies to the Bat Family.

Anarky’s mobilization of the Victims Movement can be akin to the many special interest groups in the news and on social media, but this particular movement follows a false prophet. Lastly, many of the books in the DC Universe have featured storylines around Clayface, but this one is the most affecting, as we see him confined and tortured, making the reader even more empathetic to this character.

Negatives
