Looks like the Justice League just can’t get a break! Though the feature-length film is on track to pull-in ver impressive numbers on home video, the specter of under-performing at the box-office has left some with a bad taste. Even their own brand compatriots over at Warner Bros. Animation have taken to parody and poked fun at the DC pantheon of legends appearing in an infamous homage to the great Alex Ross’ work and replaced the big guns with the Cartoon Network’s ratings capitalists in Teen Titans GO! as they prepare to make the leap to the big screen!
Check out the not so subtle camp approach to the poster marketing and promoting the upcoming release Teen Titans GO! To the Movies. The image is remarkably well crafted and meant to evoke the look of last year’s Justice League teaser poster only it would suggest that the comically animated counterparts of the Teen Titans aren’t able to “Save the World…At ALL!” So maybe the teen heroes may not be able to thwart the dastardly plans of Steppenwolf, but we can bet they’ll have a great time trying when Teen Titans GO! To the Movies premieres in July
