Batman V Superman director Zack Snyder has shared some incredible photos of late, but none come close to what he’s shared this past week.

“Throwback Thursday to the first Flash costume test” Snyder captioned the photo of Ezra Miller as the Flash, which he again shared via his personal Vero account.

The image is from Justice League and the costume was originally intended to be the first of two worn by Miller, with Bruce Wayne presenting him with an upgraded ‘Wayne Tech’ version later in the film. This was later scrapped as Snyder wanted to allow the director of The Flash solo movie the opportunity to add their own take on the costume.

The other photo shared is possibly the ‘Holy Grail’, the very first time Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot and Henry Cavill all donned their respected costumes together, not only marking the first time the three are seen together but the first time the ‘Trinity’ are seen together in a live-action feature film.

Its not know if this photo was taken as part of the marketing session for many of the posters and general marketing images available or taken during the filming of the final battle with Doomsday. Either way it’s an iconic photo taken behind the scenes of a major moment in superhero movie history.

Snyder also confirmed that he will indeed be serving as a producer on the upcoming Wonder Woman sequel set to begin filming in the UK this summer.
