AMC has decided to end Kevin Smith’s reality show Comic Book Men after seven seasons. Starting in 2012, Comic Book Men followed the exploits of geeks Brian, Walter, Mike and Ming at Jay and Silent Bob’s Secret Stash. The show gave way to some amazing comic history as well as local fans having incredible comics, props, and even homes. Longtime fans remember when AMC moved the time slot to midnight on Sundays marking a big red flag to the shows end and it seems it has now come to fruition.

As an NJ native, I had the chance to visit the store many times. I was able to meet the cast and feel as if I was on an episode of the show. Its sad to see the show go. Fans should take note that the store will continue its day to day operations, so if you’re in the Redbank area, pop in, say hi, and check out some amazing comic book culture.
