If you’re a fan of Young Justice, we have some big news for you. More than 5 years after the final episode aired on Cartoon Network, Young Justice is coming back as Young Justice: Outsiders. And now it’s been announced that the first footage of the return series will be aired at San Diego Comic-Con!
Warner Bros. made the announcement in a press release they sent out that revealed plans for all of the shows they are bringing to the biggest event of the year.
“The fans have waited long enough and it’s time for a first look at one of the most highly anticipated shows of the year. In Young Justice: Outsiders, the teenage super heroes of the DC Universe come of age in an animated world of super-powers, Super-Villains, and super secrets. This time, the team faces its greatest challenge yet as it takes on meta-human trafficking and the terrifying threat it creates for a society caught in the crossfire of a genetic arms race spanning the globe and the galaxy.”
The panel will take place on Friday, July 20th, at 10 am in Room 6DE. Along with the first-look footage, the panel will also have appearances by Greg Weisman, Brandon Vietti, Phil Bourassa, Jamie Thomasson, and cast members Troy Baker and Stephanie Lemelin.
Fans are stoked for this return and we all can’t wait to see it! The series will premiere to the public but there’s a catch. You have to get the new DC streaming service in order to watch the whole season. That includes the new live-action Titans series, Doom Patrol, Swamp Thing, and the animated Harley Quinn series.
