Earlier this summer, Funko, the popular toy and collectible company, brought back the nostalgia with a line of brightly colored, multigrain cereal that contained a fun toy inside like the good old days. The first wave of cereals came in themes like Mega Man, Gollum, and Freddy Krueger.
That first wave must have done its job because a second wave is coming, and it features DC’s own Batman and Batgirl. Appropriately, Batman’s cereal will be blue, and Batgirl’s will be purple. Check out the Instagram announcement HERE.
DC’s cereal boxes will be found at Entertainment Earth. Also released in the second wave will be Beetlejuice boxes at Box Lunch, Huckleberry Hound boxes at Funko’s website, Pennywise boxes at Hot Topic, Cuphead boxes at GameStop, and Cthulhu boxes at Books-A-Million.
Every box contains multigrain cereal and a mini Pop! collectible. The second wave is expected to be released in the month of August. Will you be the first to collect them all?
