Jensen Ackles Donned the Red Hood Once Again for Halloween

Supernatural star Jensen Ackles continues his slow and steady quest to play a live action Red Hood by putting on the outfit once again, this time for Halloween.  He took to his Instagram to share his photos with the world while also giving a subtle nod towards how good he’d be in the role.  The caption reads, “Feels good…real good. Hope y’all have a wicked day, today. Remember… eat ALL the candy!”

Many are familiar with Ackles’s work as Dean Winchester on CW’s Supernatural for the past 14 years, but he also voiced Red Hood in the animated film, Under the Red Hood.  Since then, fans have been clamoring for Ackles to play a live action version of the character, and from his pictures with costume, it seems like Ackles is on board as well.  In the mean time, however, a live action Jason Todd is coming our way in Titans and will be played by Curran Walters.  It will be Jason Todd, but not as Red Hood, only as Robin.

What do you think about Ackles as Red Hood?  Let us know in the comments!

I am currently a Sophomore at Case Western Reserve University studying mechanical engineering. I have been in love with DC since I saw the animated series and movies in the early 2000s. I started reading comics regularly at the start of Rebirth. My favorite character is Martian Manhunter.
