Doom Patrol Pilot Is Finished

There is no doubt that the DC Universe is a huge success and this February it gets even bigger. It was announced a while back that the Doom Patrol would be getting its own series on the DC streaming service (DC Universe) and now that the pilot has screened, we get a first look at the show’s cast.

Joivan Wade (The First Purge) took to Twitter to share that the pilot was done.  Wade has been cast in the series as the hero, Cyborg.

Doom Patrol will be a more modern adaptation on one of the more popular teams in DC after first being introduced in June 1963.  Being branded “The Worlds Strangest Heroes”, the team is made up of individuals who gained powers through tragic accidents.

The DC Universe original series will be made up of most of the original line-up including: Robotman, Crazy Jane, Negative Man, Elasti-Woman and The Chief. The cast includes Matt Bomer, April Bowlby, Brendan Fraser, Timothy Dalton, Diane Guerrero, Riley Shanahan, Matthew Zuk and Joivan Wade.

Doom Patrol debuts on the DC Universe streaming service in February 2019.
