Production began this past week on the Batwoman pilot for The CW. The show will spin out of last year’s Elseworlds crossover event between the network’s other superhero shows (Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl) and will star Ruby Rose as the titular hero Batwoman.
The actress shared some exciting, behind the scenes footage with fans via Instagram that includes a fight training video, a video with her costars Rachel Skarsten, Camrus Johnson, Megan Tandy, Nicole Kang, and producer Caroline Dries, and a photo of Day 1 on the set.

Batwoman has only been cleared for a pilot as of now, but expect more news as to whether it gets picked up or not in a few months. Until then, get excited!
