Warner Bros. Makes Shocking Move Regarding SDCC

The world has turned upside down after it was announced today that Warner Bros. will not be holding any panels in the famed Hall H at this year’s San Diego Comic Con. This year is the 50th anniversary of the famed comic con and we won’t be seeing anything to look forward to. According to IGN, Warner Bros. will be focusing on their horror material at the ScareDiego event on July 17th with It: Chapter Two.

This comes as a shock to all DC fans since there was no shortage of footage to be shown this year. We will now not see anything at the con regarding Joker, Wonder Woman 1984, or Birds of Prey. This also means we may not get any special announcements on other upcoming titles or films such as Matt Reeve’s The Batman, Aquaman 2, or Suicide Squad 2. The announcement shouldn’t affect any of Warner Bros. TV shows but we have yet to see. The famed Hall H may be collecting dust this year since no further information has been released.

What do you think of this announcement? Has Warner Bros. gotten too many bats in the belfry or is this a strategic move? Maybe we’ll be surprised and they will show up for a surprise panel after all, and like Joker, have some aces up their sleeve.
