IMAX Debuts Spectacular “Birds of Prey” Poster!

IMAX debuts

IMAX debuts an all-new poster for Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn).

Two weeks away from its release, the movie company released a new promotional poster featuring the core team in the film: Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), Black Canary (Jurnee Smollet-Bell), Cassandra Cain (Ella Jay Basco), and Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez). After numerous stylized – sometimes psychedelic – advertisements, this poster is straight to the point. They even accentuate the bird motif with descending feathers.

This is the official synopsis:

“You ever hear the one about the cop, the songbird, the psycho and the mafia princess? Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is a twisted tale told by Harley herself, as only Harley can tell it. When Gotham’s most nefariously twisted villain, Roman Sionis, and his zealous right-hand, Zzaz, put a target on a young girl named Cass, the city is turned upside down looking for her. Harley, Huntress, Black Canary and Renee Montoya’s paths collide, and the unlikely foursome have no choice but to team up to take Roman down.”

The film also stars Ewan MacGregor as Roman Sionis and Chris Messina as Victor Zzaz. Directed by Cathy Yan with a script written by Bumblebee scribe Christina Hodson, this is Robbie’s second performance in her breakout role as Harley. She first debuted in the role in 2016’s Suicide Squad. However, Jared Leto, who portrayed the Joker in that film, will not be appearing in this movie. Robbie is also scheduled to return in the sequel.

The film premieres in theaters February 7, 2020. Check out the new poster below.
