Celebrated dialect coach Andrew Jack has passed away from the coronavirus. He was working  on The Batman before they shut the production down. Matt Reeves posted saying, “Andrew was a legend, and such a kind man. We are all absolutely heartbroken. Our hearts go out to his family. Rest in peace, Andrew… ”

According to Jack’s agent, Jill McCullough, the dialect coach and actor passed away on Tuesday in Britain’s Surry Hospital. McCullough told the Evening Standard, “Andrew lived on one of the oldest working houseboats on the Thames, he was fiercely independent but madly in love with his wife; also a dialect coach: Gabrielle Rogers.” She went on to add, “Andrew was full of life, he was tall and striking with flowing white hair. You wouldn’t miss him if he walked into a room.”

His wife, a fellow dialect coach, later posted a tribute to him saying, “We lost a man today. Andrew Jack was diagnosed with Coronavirus 2 days ago. He was in no pain, and he slipped away peacefully knowing that his family were all ‘with’ him.”
Rest in peace, Andrew. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
