It was recently announced that the infamous Zack Snyder cut of Justice League would be heading to HBO Max in 2021. Not much has been said about it since then, until now.
Over the last couple years, Snyder has been dropping images from his cut of the film; some of them being of Wonder Woman finding the image of Darkseid, a shot of that image, and a shot of Darkseid himself.
And now, Justice League star Jason Momoa has taken to Instagram to share with the world the very first teaser for the Snyder Cut, showing that very scene of Diana and Darkseid. Check it out below:
Momoa shared in the post, “The best part about being Aquaman is that Zack Synder created me so I get to see all this awesome sh-t before anyone.”
Throughout the various reveals of Snyder’s plans for Justice League, Momoa has offered confirmations about the project’s existence, despite other sources denying it. It would only make sense that, given his large following and how much support he’s shown for Snyder over the years, Momoa would be the one to unveil this first look at the project.
It was even recently revealed that the actor playing Darkseid is Ray Porter, and teased that Martian Manhunter and Green Lantern are in the film.
Few details have been revealed about Zack Snyder’s Justice League, with some rumors even claiming that the project may not be a film, but rather an episodic limited series. However, Snyder has confirmed that the Snyder Cut will be involved with the upcoming virtual comic-con event, DC FanDome.
