The long delayed Plastic Man movie has popped back on Warner Brothers radar.. First announced a few years ago, Plastic Man has received a new writer in Cat Vasko (Queen of the Air, Lumberjanes). The report also mentions Vasko’s take on the character will now feature the hero as a female character. So Plastic Woman it is!
The Mayor scribe Amanda Idoko wrote the previous version of the script, and it is unknown exactly how much of the original script will be used for this version.
First appearing as a in 1941, as part of Quality Comics roster, DC got the rights in 1956. Since then, he’s become a cult favorite. The film is being overseen by DC Films head Walter Hamada and Chantal Nong.
