Writer-director-producer Ava DuVernay is developing a Naomi series! Based on the comic book series written by Brian Michael Bendis and David F. Walker with art by Jamal Campbell. Naomi was a part of the Wonder Comics, a teen aimed comics imprint started by Bendis a few years back,
The CW TV adaptation is being written and executive produced by DuVernay (Queen Sugar) and Jill Blankenship (Arrow) follows a teen girl’s journey from her small northwestern town as she figures out a mystery about her origin.
Unlike the Arrowverse series, this show is not executive produced by Greg Berlanti, so it is unsure if or how this potential series will connect to the others.
