Everyone everywhere, fan and actor alike, are issuing a call to restore the “SNYDERVERSE!”
Zack Snyder made his feature film debut in 2004 with a remake of the 1978 horror film Dawn of the Dead. Since then, he has directed or produced a number of comic book and superhero films, including 300 (2007) and Watchmen (2009), as well as the Superman film that started the DC Extended Universe, Man of Steel (2013), and its follow-ups, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) and Justice League (2017). He also directed the computer-animated film Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole (2010), the psychological action film Sucker Punch (2011) and the upcoming film Army of the Dead (2021). Currently, he “restored” the Justice League from 2017 which debuted this year; March 18th, 2021 on HBO Max.
While producing the 2017 version of the Justice League, he had to step down due to a family emergency and allowed another director to step in. The result of the 2017 version was an inexplicable disappointment. This inexplicable disappointment caused fans to form a grassroots movement calling for a much more exciting version of the Justice League. The 2017 version became a 4 hour version of fun while sitting on the edge of your seat in awe. The 4 hour Zack Snyder’s Justice League, as it is now called, received early praise and high ratings. It was rated a “mild” R.
It takes an extraordinarily diverse skill set to direct a great comic-book movie. You’ve got to be a visual-effects wizard; a maestro of story and pace; a popcorn humanist who can find the relatable dimension of a bunch of freaks in capes and breastplates and spandex; and enough of an artist to tie the whole thing together into an indelible big vision. Zack Snyder does all of this and goes beyond expectations with every one of his movies! Snyder’s wife, Deborah, also helps in producing his movies.
After Zack Snyder finished his masterpiece, it was decided by both Snyder and WarnerMedia that they were done.
Now fans and actors alike are calling for the restoration of the “SNYDERVERSE”. Fans on social media including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Tumblr are joining with people like Ray Porter(Darkseid), Ray Fisher (Cyborg), Jared Leto(Joker), Joe Manganiello (Deathstroke), and Dwayne Johnson (Black Adam) to issue the call to restore the “SNYDERVERSE!”

This means that the actors really do want Snyder to get to finish his vision for what’s been dubbed as the SNYDERVERSE. The actors love working with him and would do so again in a heartbeat if called upon. Jared Leto, Amber Heard, Ben Affleck, Ray Fisher, Gal Gadot and so on all love working with the guy. His enthusiasm on set is infectious and his vision for the DCEU is really quite radical.
