Straight from panel at San Diego Comic-Con, AMC released a brand-new trailer for Preacher Season 2 and it offers viewers some new footage from the upcoming episodes of the series and even teasing the villain for the season, Herr Starr! For the trailer, check it out below.
Preacher is based on the acclaimed comic book series created by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon. The show offers a supernatural and darkly comedic drama. The story is about a Texas preacher, Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), who is inhabited by a mysterious entity known as Genesis which grants him the power to make people do whatever he commands. It then attracts the attention of two mysterious angels, Fiore and DeBlanc. Jesse, with his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip (played by Academy Award nominee Ruth Negga), and an Irish vampire named Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) are then thrust in a crazy world populated by a cast of characters from Heaven, Hell and everywhere between.
