Teri Hatcher has spoken about her role in the Superman series and shared her thoughts about Man of Steel.

The actress – who played Lois Lane on Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman between 1993 and 1997 – endorsed new Superman actor Henry Cavill while speaking to Digital Spy about Disney film Planes.

I really enjoyed it, I kind of joked, ‘Wow, he should work on his body’. Like anyone could say that with a straight face!” she said.

Discussing the lasting appeal of the DC Comics superhero, Hatcher added:

“In the end, what I think carries through so strongly is the relationship between Lois and Clark, Lois and Superman. Even in Man of Steel, that was my favorite part of it. I kind of wish for a little bit more of seeing them.”

Hatcher also talks about her cameo in Smallville in the exclusive video interview above.
