Victor Garber, who plays Dr. Martin Stein in The Flash may have recently revealed when the Arrow/Flash spinoff will premiere. In an interview with broadwayworld.com, Garber talked about the untitled spinoff, which could eventually be called Legends of Tomorrow.
He mostly discussed his character Firestorm, which he plays a dual role for alongside Robbie Amell. He doesn’t mention any specific cast members, but one could bet we’ll see superhero characters that have been in both shows, though we’ll probably see new faces as well. The Atom and Hawkgirl have already both been confirmed to appear. As Garber stated:
“I really honestly can’t tell you much about it except it is completely new and it will involve a lot of interesting people,”
According to rumors, May 14th could be release of the trailer for the spinoff at the CW’s upfronts.
Garber confirmed that something will probably happen during this month:
“I believe they are going to do something for it in May at the upfronts,”
Garber says the spinoff will be going straight to a full series and that filming starts in August with the premiere to air sometime in January.
