When Heath Ledger won best supporting actor Oscar in 2009 for his role as The Joker in The Dark Knight, it was received by Kim Ledger, the father. But where is the Oscar now?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, it is in the Western Australian Museum in Perth that is spotlighting the late actors career. It is next to The Joker costume and other memorabilia.

The Oscar actually belongs to Heath Ledger’s daughter, Matilda, who is now 10 years old.
“Michelle is aware the Oscar remains secured with the museum. At the end of the day, everything is there for Matilda, and when she can take possession of it, it’s all hers,” Kim Ledger said.
