Paul Dini Hints At A Possible Zatanna/Sabrina Teenage Witch Crossover

During a recent panel at San Diego Comic Con, legendary creator Paul Dini hinted at a possible crossover between DC’s very own sorceress supreme Zatanna and famed Archie Comics creation Sabrina the Teenage Witch. This possible crossover event comes on the heels of an already announced collaboration between the two comic book publishers in which Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy will be featured alongside Riverdale’s very own Betty and Veronica.

At the panel which also featured fan-favorite creators Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti (Harley Quinn), Dini casually mentioned the possible collaboration during an exchange with Conner. The exchange came while discussing the already revealed DC/Archie crossover:

Palmiotti: You did the cover with [Harley, Ivy, Betty, Veronica] at the.. the soda shop–

Conner: That’s right, I totally forgot about that. I honestly forgot about that… Thank you!

Dini: Sure. Well, start thinking Sabrina/Zatanna for a future one.

Conner: [Gasps] She used to be my favorite Archie character, Sabrina. I loved Sabrina so much. And Zatanna?

Dini: Yes.

Although no further details were revealed at the time, fans are left wondering if this collaboration could happen. Dini is a passionate fan of Zatanna and if he has chance to work with that character again, fans would have only reasons to celebrate.
